iPhone almost certainly to be released in Korea
While it’s not absolutely set in stone, it’s almost certain that KTF will be releasing the iPhone in Korea. A third-party company has verified that the 3G iPhone works with the WCDMA network in Korea. And while KTF has not made any official announcements yet, unofficial sources in the industry claim that the release is almost guaranteed.
Now if I’m going to use the iPhone in Korea, I’ll need to check whether I’ll actually be able to activate it in the country, that I can use content from the US iTunes Store with the phone, and whether the phone could still be used when I move back to the states.
